Vincent Barrella will be playing Gordon Jacob's romantic 1st Piano Concerto, as well as Gerald Finzi’s evocative Eclogue for piano and strings.
We are also delighted to be giving the first performance of the Arrival of Spring, a new work for strings by local composer Dr Matthew Brown.
Finally we’ll play Mendelssohn’s youthfully energetic and tuneful String Symphony No. 7
